I have two narcissus plants in a single pot for almost an year now.they have not flowered as yet.?

the pot gets enough sunlight thruout the day.it is kept in west side.Iam in India.what do i do to get the flowers.and why arent the plants increasing in number.

Reply:Wait ten days before watering again. When you do water use plant food to boost the flowering. Seven days later water with root stimulator. In another week you should start to see buds.
Reply:The bulbs need to go thru a dormant period and be made to think that they have been dormant during the winter.


WHICH BULB DO YOU HAVE?


PAPER WHITE OR JUST ***THE NARCISSICUS ALSO CALLED/photos below daffodil,jonquil etc.


1. Did you refrigerate the bulbs for several weeks prior to planting?


****The exception is the paper white narccissus*****


My personal opinion is refrigeration does help.


2.Did you plant them in a shallow pot?


3.Did you plant them just above the root line? (never force bulbs with deep planting)


4.If not, you need to do so.
