JDPower.com...In greek mythology, what do flowers symbolyze?
I googled it. Names of the people are the same names of the flowers.
Reply:The flower was mainly related to Appolo and was said to be nothing but a show of evolution and simplicity the flower was said to have symbolized the mercy of the gods or to show that sometimes the greatest wish of a mortal was to return from the earth that it came from.
Reply:In Greek mythology, Chloris was a Nymph associated with spring, flowers and new growth. Her Roman equivalent was the goddess Flora. She was abducted by (and later married to) Zephyrus, the west wind, who gave her dominion over spring. Together they had a son, Carpus. Carpus means "fruit" in Ancient Greek. According to Greek mythology, the rose was created by Chloris, The Greek goddess of flowers.

One day, in a clearing in the woods, she found the lifeless body of a nymph. She asked the help of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who gave Beauty. Dionysus, the god of wine added nectar for a sweet scent. The three Graces gave charm, brightness and joy. Zephyr, the West Wind, blew away the clouds, and then Apollo, the Sun god shone and made the flowers bloom. The Rose was crowned Queen of the Flowers.
