What are the symbols for Persephone?

And what role does the narcissus flower play in it?

What are the symbols for Persephone?
Pomegranate, flowers of any kind because she was Kore the flower maiden before she was abducted by Hades. The narcissus flower was created when Narcis? fell in love with his own reflection and stayed by the pool until he died and Echo who had fallen in love with him had to stand by silently until he died. As he died he said "Goodbye my love." And Echo said "Goodbye my love." It such a Greek tragedy. Anyway any flower will do for Persephone. She is Queen of the Dead also so you can make some allusions to her in that capacity. A dark queen surrounded by the dead. Hades by her side.
Reply:Persephone was a grain goddess, daughter of Demeter prior to being taken by Hades to be his Queen. When Zeus intervened to try and end the eternal winter Demeter had decreed, he was forced into a compromise because Persephone had eaten food in the palace of Hades-six seeds from a pomegranate. Narcissus is another myth entirely-a beautiful man cursed to be obsessed with his own beauty until he became a flower and bent forever to see his reflection. The nymph Echo pined for him so, she dwindled away to just a voice trying to get his attention. Unless Persephone was the one who cursed Narcissus, I don't think there's a further connection, but I'd have to check Edith Hamilton to be sure.
Reply:usually a pomegranate.
