I'm interested in reading about Greek Mythologies... but where do I begin...?? [any good websites??]?

Ok I've read random stories... and came across some Greek myths





about Echo and Narcissus, Aphrodite etc.





They were really interesting stories... and I'd like to read more





but where do I start... reading?? Is there an order to how you read the stories?





and what is a good website for these things...??

Begin with books not websites since most of the mythology websites use summaries taken from books anyway !





Your local library should have a mythology and folklore section and check religion also?





If your school or town branch has limited stock ask the librarian if they can do inter library loans from a central depository if they are linked to one?





If you don't mind reading older versions there are many etexts you can download from sites like Project Gutenberg or the Internet Sacred Text Archive.





Don't settle for one paragraph summaries when you can read the original fuller versions!





The better Wikipedia pages will include bibliographies ... book lists for further reading!
