paper whites(narcissus) to grow.... 5 were planted in soil 3-4 days ago indoors and 2 on gravels rocks with water and a dish and one in a vase with gravel and water... how long ....i remember before when i did this they started spouting green shoots from their bulbs in like 2 days... am i wrong?
How long?i forgot cause i have not planted them in while, does it take?
Not that long, I planted some just after Thanksgiving and they were blooming by Christmas. Only 3-4 wks, they grow pretty fast. So, you are not wrong. Maybe 4 or 5 days to start growing, but it doesn't take long. Keep them in a sunny spot.
